Mike has left the building!
In December, 2004, Mike left R-V to move to Seattle. We will miss him, and wish him much success, wherever his path takes him. He will always be a part of the Roberto-Venn family.

Mike Rosen graduated from RV in January of 1999, stayed on as a shop assistant and consultant for the following class, and returned for the Fall 1999 class as an assistant instructor. Over 15 years of experience in the hardware and lumber fields, as well as 10 years as the proprietor of a custom cabinet shop, made Mike an invaluable member of the RV team.

Mike insists that he's not a musician, but he sings Bass with the Paradise Valley Cactus Chordsmen (a barbershop chorus,) and he is also a member of the choir at Temple Chai.

To learn a little more about Mike, and to see what he is up to now, check out his site at www.specialmillwork.com.

Mike doesn't build many electrics, but here's his version of a Les Paul Junior with a mahogany body and neck and a flame maple top.

Mike enjoys developing fixtures and machines as much as he enjoys building instruments. Here's a benchtop thickness sander that he designed and built.
